Effective April 1, 2025, McLaren Health Plan is updating the CONNECT portal for Members and Providers. On April 1, 2025, all users must re-register and create a new account to access the portal.

Medicaid/MIChild Enrollment

McLaren Health Plan is here to help enroll for Michigan Medicaid and MIChild coverage so you get the health care you need for you and your family.

Enroll in a McLaren Health Plan
Medicaid Plan using these easy steps:

  • Visit MIBridges website or your local Department of Human Services (DHS) office to determine your eligibility for a McLaren Health Plan Medicaid plan with assistance from their staff. If you do not have an account, sign up. If you already have an account, make sure your info is correct with the Michigan Department of Health and Human Services (MDHHS) on your MIBridges online account.
  • Once you are enrolled/re-enrolled, you'll get your MIHealth card in the mail.
  • Call Michigan Enrolls at 888-367-6557 (TTY users call 711) and request to have your coverage provided by McLaren Health Plan. If you do not choose a carrier, one will be automatically assigned to you, so make sure to make the call.
