Preventive Health Promotion

Crucial to the success of a managed care organization is the health status of the member. McLaren Health Plan (MHP) has adopted and promoted health screening for all members. Preventive Health Guidelines are distributed with every member newsletter.

In addition, MHP recognizes that many unhealthy behaviors cause certain diseases. MHP supports the primary care physician in the attempt to educate the member and sends Preventive Health Guidelines to all participating primary care physicians annually.
